Quick answer
PenFed Credit Union SCRA overview
PenFed says the federal 6% SCRA rate may apply to credit cards, auto and personal loans, home-equity loans and lines, and some mortgages. An activation notice may be sent up to 180 days after service, and Secure Upload is available for activation orders and supporting documents. PenFed does not say that uploading documents alone starts a request; call and ask for a Loss Mitigation Analyst if you need help. Qualifying military members may also receive Honors Advantage benefits on Power Cash and Pathfinder.
Federal protections are separate from any additional benefit offered by a credit union. Membership eligibility and SCRA eligibility are also separate tests.

Federal SCRA rule
Start with when the debt began.
Federal interest relief generally concerns qualifying debt from before military service. A credit union's extra benefit may be more generous, but it does not replace the federal eligibility test.

Quick read. Eligibility still depends on the exact account and current terms.
2% Power Cash rewards through Honors Advantage
The primary applicant may qualify through active duty, Reserve or National Guard service, honorable discharge, or retirement; an eligible checking account is another path. The 2% applies to net purchases, not cash advances, balance transfers, or checks.
Pathfinder 4X travel rewards and $95 annual-fee waiver
Honors Advantage members receive 4X travel points instead of 3X and a $95 fee waiver. Military status or an eligible checking account can qualify you for Honors Advantage. If you qualify after opening the card, the annual-fee waiver begins at your next account anniversary. The waiver continues only while you remain eligible.
